The testing machine mainly consists of three parts: the body, hydraulic control box, and force measurement instrument.
1.Body Section
The body of the testing machine is connected by four columns linking the cylinder and the upper beam.
On the upper beam of the testing machine, an adjustment screw, large handwheel, and nut screw are installed to adjust the no-load height of the machine. The lower end of the screw is equipped with a ball seat and the upper pressure plate. The lower pressure plate is placed on the piston of the oil cylinder. When the specimen contacts the upper pressure plate, the ball seat of the upper pressure plate self-adjusts for balance, keeping the specimen level with the upper and lower pressure plates. The lower pressure plate has engraved lines for positioning the specimen; during testing, the specimen must align with these lines. Below the lower pressure plate, a dust cover is installed to prevent or reduce dust from entering the oil cylinder during piston movement, which could damage the cylinder or oil seal. A sealing device is placed between the piston and oil cylinder to prevent oil leakage. However, if slight oil leakage occurs during use, an annular oil groove at the top of the cylinder and an oil discharge channel direct the oil back to the main tank.
2.Hydraulic Section
The hydraulic control box of this testing machine mainly consists of an oil tank, oil pump, oil filter, motor, speed valve, and return oil valve. The oil pump is a direct-rotation axial five-pillar pump. During loading, the loading speed valve should be manually controlled to regulate the piston's rising speed (this valve is integrated with the safety valve). During unloading, turning the return oil valve allows the oil cylinder to descend slowly. The safety valve is preset to an appropriate position at the factory; under normal use, users should not adjust the safety valve.
